This is not mandatory however it is something that I'd like to show everyone. ShackTac HUD is a mod for arma 2. It adds a tiny circle at the bottom of the screen. In that circle you will see individual soldiers in your team that are around you. What the mod does is give you the natural situational awareness that otherwise you'd only get in real life. Not on the screen. In game screenshot: To me this has increased my situational awareness greatly. I always know which sector is not covered and where I need to be within my section. Download
Personally the newest version of the Mod does not work for me. Dslyecxi has added in new group indicators (STGI) but I do not get them or the HUD. So what I've done is uploaded the solid and tested previous version to teamspeak.
To download the previous version, log onto our teamspeak: 64.94.238.219 Find the 'Mod List' Channel. Right click it and select open file browser. Right click '@sthud.rar' and click download. Extract it into your game folder. *please note* If you use SixLauncher or Playwithsix, it might try to update your files. If so just click no. Alternatively you can download the newest version from SixLauncher or Armaholic: www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=9936

My old version stopped working. I switched to the file in the mod list on Saturday morning and it works fine now.

*JUST TO ADD*
If Anyone struggles to call out a contact with direction and is fed up of opening there compass. The ST Hud also shows direction (North, East, South And West) so if you want a fast and easy contact spot i seriously recomend it.
