Hello gents, As you all should know by know we're moving to Arma 3 and having a weeks break this week to get things sorted. We're no longer the armoured 1RFF, we're the light infantry 2RRF. This among other things mean we are 8 man sections now. We've done much but we still have things to do.
We're now going to operate on three days.
Fridays 6:30 GMT are recruit trainings, conducted only when four recruits are present.
Wednesdays 7:00 GMT will be smaller trainings or missions.
Saturdays 7:00 will remain our main training/event day.
Attendances will now be taken only on section level by section IC or 2IC, and will then be reported up the chain of command.
Also, with the change to Arma 3, we will step up discipline again to get it back to standard. This means, Platoon HQ and section leaders will need to harschen up. This means mostly on ops but in general as well. To the individuals, remember to restrict the banter on TS as well. And we're now introducing the Cadet program for people younger than 16, this will be slightly longer than regular recruit training to prove maturity.
Our main method of transport is now the Hunter, a 4 seated vehicle with camera remote operated weapon systems(CROWS).
Each of the two teams in a section, man their own Hunter. This should hopefully enforce the fact that a section isn't one team, but two operating together. This will give more responsibility to the 2IC due to more authority over his team.
Here's the new structuring:
Platoon HQ (Foxtrot-1)
Plt Co: S.Wheeler
Plt Sgt: R. Reher
Plt Sgn: J. Thompson
Plt Mdc: D. Gunny
